At Mass on Easter, in Foreign War Rocket

A very unique religious traditions come from the Greek. If you find Mass boring, it's good to go to the island of Chios in Greece.

If during the Mass commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with reverence done, you will not find it in this place. People are becoming preoccupied with war rockets that occurred between the two churches.

Every year, when Easter night there was a war the most spectacular on the island of Chios. Both churches are located on the island hurling rockets.

Unmitigated, the number of rockets used to reach 250,000 pieces and needed 150 people to ignite the fireworks rocket. Explosion sound will be heard during the Mass, but calm because this is not a real war but a mere tradition.

No one knows for sure why and when this tradition was originally done. However, many news mentions if this tradition has been started since the beginning of the 19th century. In 1889, local governments have banned this tradition because it uses cannon weapon used until replaced by a fireworks rocket. Tradition continued, but can be quite dangerous and cause a fire or even death.
