Bali Tourism fluttering, People Still So Spectator

DENPASAR - passionate Bali's tourism sector has not been fully felt the public. Government policy in the face of tourism is expected to design a public participation so that not just a spectator.

Amid the glitter of tourism that relies on Bali south, are emerging collective awareness in the community that impact the development has not been hacked up into other areas. Economic inequality southern regions of Bali with Bali eastern and northern Bali more wide open and there are no signs of equalization. This condition spotlight Deputy Governor Anak Agung Ngurah Puspayoga.

"The model of tourism development, such BTDC Nusa Dua, the future is no longer appropriate, many luxury hotels but no impact to the community," said Puspayoga in Denpasar, Bali, Tuesday (04/02/2013).

Hotels and luxury resorts are crammed in the Nusa Dua area and surrounding Bali monopolized by outside investors, including foreigners. No doubt, people are just a spectator and not getting the maximum benefit behind the glitter of Bali tourism. To that end, the next Puspayoga assess Bali should not be developed as tourism in Nusa Dua.

He then provides a solution for the development of tourism, such as in North Badung, by developing tourist villages. He believes, based on the potential of nature tourism and culture far will give positive impact for the promotion of well-being.

"I believe the people of North Bali the other evening and be more prosperous than people in Nusa Dua," he said.

With the pattern of development of rural tourism, it will not be any residents or investors who sold land to build five-star hotel. Later it own people who manage rural tourism and other supporting facilities. So, tourists can enjoy the natural beauty of the village on holiday with a stay in a homestay homestay-clean and comfortable.

"Bali has the potential for tremendous tourist village to be developed," lugasnya.

Foreign tourists who visit the tourist village will feel comfortable and at ease to see the natural wealth owned by North Badung region that rely on agriculture. Crops, such as fruits and vegetables, which are widely spread in sub evening, for example, is a flagship product area.

"Gotta have the courage to make the vision a portrait Petang District tourist villages in synergy with agriculture and other plantation," added Puspayoga.

The existence of a tourism village is owned by the entire community so that they have a responsibility to maintain it well. "If a homestay house, then there is no need big capital, all can be enjoyed by the people themselves, so that they are no longer a spectator," he concluded.
