Asian continent is unique. Asia is the continent that has so much desert. The deserts also has a unique and distinct characteristics of the deserts of other continents.
For example, the Arabian Desert in Western Asia. Most sandy desert in the world has an area of 2.5 million kilometers. If another desert sands contain as much as 10-15%, the Arabian Desert has a bigger sand content.
In Asia there is any desert with the coldest temperatures in the world. Is the Gobi Desert which covers 1.3 million kilometers in East Asia have temperatures up to -40 degrees Celsius.
While, China has the highest and lowest deserts on Earth. Highest desert valley located in the Qaidam height reaches 2,600 meters above sea level. While, the lowest desert valley located in Tupan with a height of 150 meters below sea level.
