Wow, Singapore Got the Biggest River in the aquarium!



Singapore re-opens the exciting attractions and the biggest record in the world. Here comes Amazon Flooded River Safari, the first river-themed aquarium in Asia.

Amazon Flooded River Safari is the latest attraction in Singapore form a river-themed aquarium. This aquarium has a length of 22 meters, which can accommodate up to 2,000 cubic meters of water. By that measure, the Amazon Flooded River Safari become the largest freshwater aquarium in the world, quoted by CNN, Wednesday (04/03/2013).

This aquarium showcases the life of the animals of the eight rivers in the world, the Mekong, the Amazon, Congo, Ganges, Mississippi, and others. In the aquarium, visitors can see the occupants of the river, such as dugong, turtles, alligators, and others. There are also animals that do not live in water but are in the river ecosystem, such as pelicans, lemurs, and many more.

Although already open, the construction of the Amazon Flooded River Safari is not fully completed. The plan, the construction was completed by the end of this year, for the tourists can walk along the rivers ecosystem is by boat.

Amazon Flooded River Safari is the Singapore Zoo complex. Admission prices for Rp196 thousand for adults, Rp125 thousand for children, and Rp98 thousand for seniors.
